QHSE Statement
Quality, Health, Safety and
Environment
People are at the very heart of Royal
Wagenborg since our employees, aided by our vessels, cranes,
transport units and other equipment, make realizing solutions
possible.
Often this is done in changing and challenging circumstances. This
is why we provide good and safe working conditions, supply our
employees with only the best equipment and deal with work related
risks in a responsible way.
We encourage safety awareness at every level
in the company, from manager to the truck driver. A strong safety
culture contributes to our goal. That goal is to have all our
employees return home safely after a workday or voyage at sea. We
pursue an active policy to prevent accidents and absence due to
illness.
Apart from the human aspect, the environment
is also regarded as an important issue. We carry out activities
worldwide, always in close contact with the environment: sailing
the planets oceans, transport across many countries and numerous
other activities, which eventually interact with the environment.
We recognize our responsibility to take care that activities have
as little impact on the environment as possible ensuring that
future generations can also experience and make use of our world in
all her diversity.
Quality is another important aspect in our
company. The message ‘Sign-of-Solutions’ revolves around this:
using the qualities of our employees to an optimum, resulting in
providing top level solutions meeting the requirements of our
clients. Optimal communication is a key factor in this. To ensure a
proper course in quality processes, all subsidiaries are certified
with ISO9001. This keeps us alert and allows us to improve in
specific areas. Providing top level solutions , for which we are
known, now and in the future.
Managing Quality, Safety and Environment is
part of the primary processes of our company and is an integral
part of the solutions we provide. Regardless if this is cargo that
needs to be transported from A to B, a bridge section which needs
to be lifted into position or an oil derrick that needs
assembling.
