Food & Beverage Industry
The Dutch food and beverage industry is innovative with
continuous product development and product launches. For the
modification or renovation of production facilities, Wagenborg
Nedlift is a committed partner with the right experience in
transport, hoisting, and assembly. For example, we were involved
with the construction of a Schiedam distillery and a brewery in
Twente. We also provided the logistics for the removal of entire
breweries to Peru and Tunisia.
Projects
Project title: From Riga to
Tunis
Moving a brewery from Riga
(Latvia) to Tunisia. Wagenborg Nedlift took care of the dismantling
on site in Riga, local transport to the port, transhipment and
loading, sea transport with the brand new Wagenborg vessel
Gouverneur, unloading at the port in Tunisia, local transport to
site, and project supervision during the assembly works at the new
location.
Project title: Sweet Sugar
Lifting 3 heavy units from the
sugar mill Breda with a LR1750 crawler crane, transport to CSM
Vierverlaten via inland water, unloading, and lifting onto
foundation
Project title: Dos millones de hectolitros de cerveza por
favor
Moving a brewery from Enschede
(the Netherlands) to Callao (Peru). The project involved 1)
disassembly of the bottling and packing lines and related
installations and piping, lifting storage tanks from foundation
onto trailer; 2) transporting all parts from Enschede to Eemshaven
harbour; 3) storing the complete installation at Wagenborg
Stevedoring premises in Eemshaven for several months; 4) shipment
from Eemshaven to Callao (Peru) with 3 Wagenborg sea-going vessels;
5) unloading at Callao (Peru).
Project title: Grolsch Boekelo
New building Grolsch brewery in
Boekelo. Crane activities on the new site in Boekelo for several
contractors and subcontractors. Relocating storage tanks and
filling line from the old brewery site to the new site in Boekelo,
including assembly and installation. Installing and assembling 14km
of steam lines in the new brewery.
Project title: Nolet Schiedam
Lifting works with mobile and
crawler cranes and installation of machinery inside the
distillation facility at the Nolet Distillery Schiedam NL.
