Super yacht EOS in Harlingen

The sailing
yacht Eos came to Harlingen
for maintenance. Among other things, the
masts of
the yacht had to
be removed. For this job Wagenborg
Nedlift was asked. Besides the
imposing size of
the yacht (length 92,92 m, weight 1,500 tons) it
was also a challenge to hoist the three
masts. They weigh
25 tons each
and are
74 meters high.
Nedlift used
therefore one of the largest cranes, the 500
ton Demag
AC-500 in
this job.
It was an
impressive appearance. It could have been
seen from far
it had
not been that
foggy....
