Wagenborg Nedlift opens branch at Chemelot

Wagenborg Nedlift BV opens on March 1, a branch in the Chemelot Industrial Park in Sittard-Geleen. "For many years we provide our knowledge and services to the petrochemical industry and we therefore we believe to have an added value to the companies at Chemelot," says managing director Ton Klijn.

From the new branche at Chemelot Wagenborg Nedlift will primarily offer and develop activities on the Chemelot site but also in the region, including Belgium and Germany. Klijn: "We have the so-called Euroregions something to offer: we have the right equipment and qualified personnel, we have good ideas and we work with committed people. We can provide our knowledge and gained experience perfectly on Chemelot, including maintenance, turn-arounds and constructions of chemical plants. Think of the "One Stop Shop" concept of the factory to foundation transport of reactors."

Thinking in solutions "Sign of Solutions"
"We do not think in a standard solutions or tunnelvision", says Klijn. Once the floodgate broke down since early this year, engineers from Wagenborg Nedlift ensured a temporary solution to the door lock with a crane to operate. While the lock gate is repaired, the traffic on the Twente Channel continues. "
