Safety in Practice
The most important objectives within our QESH policy are:
- Prevent accidents
- Report risk situations
- Promote awareness of the concept
‘safety’
- General management of safety,
quality, and environmental care and cost control during
activities
That is why we pay a lot of attention to a good and safe working
system. The following is important to us:
- Good and competent
personnel;
- Good working conditions;
- Compliance with safety rules and
instructions;
- Safe and approved tools and
their safe and approved use and maintenance.
Testing QESH
Policy
In order to test and evaluate the QESH policy, management and
the QESH Co-ordinator hold an annual management review, which is
recorded in writing. An external and independent certification body
also checks every six months whether the QESH system operates well
in practice. We also receive regular feedback from all employees
involved on any changes to existing procedures.
