Company Seminar Wagenborg Kazakhstan
Target of the seminar was the exchanging of information
over the present and future activities, the improving of the
internal communication and the getting of more understanding in the
organizational structure with as final target more efficient and
motivated work. For the seminar a part of the Russian, Kazakh and
Dutch employees were invited, where amongst Captains and Chief
Engineers on leave.
The seminar was officially opened by the Managing Director of
Wagenborg Kazakhstan, Mr. Paul van der Pol.
The morning started with Hans Kersbergen, HSE manager. Subjects
like ISM, ISPS and ISO, standards to be followed by us and national
and international legislation. Accent became hereby on the
improvement of the performance of this.
Johan Adriaanse, Head of CPL department ( Contract, Purchase and
Logistics), continues the program after the lunch. With much
interest there was listened to a number of renewals that will be
carried out within the organization and all consequences of
that. The most important issue that needs to be sharpened is
the delivery of spare parts and consumables to maintain the ships
in trustworthy state of maintenance. To closing off of the
program of the seminar the HR department explained the importance
of performance management.
After the seminar, the guests visited, on invitation of Rob
Wagenborg the Maasborg. The new ship, that lay moored at the wharf
in Delfzijl, made impression on the guests. Unfortunately
there could not be promised to them that in the future such ship
will be built for the Caspian sea .
The day was closed with a “stamppot buffet” in the
Eemshotel. The guests enjoyed the taste of the typical Dutch
dishes very well.
In January 2006 there will be organized a second Seminar for the
employees who were “on duty” during the first seminar.
