Pilde Driving Conductor Tubes and Foundations
Besides placing and moving drilling rigs, pile driving conductor
tubes is one of the core activities of Wagenborg Foxdrill. In 1984,
Wagenborg Foxdrill introduced the IHC Hydrohammer for
installing conductors offshore. A hydraulic hammer has many
advantages over the diesel-powered hammers, including the control
over the piling process.
These days our material is
available from the Netherlands, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan.
Wagenborg Foxdrill uses a piling frame that was developed
in-house for the onshore installation of conductors. This frame
ensures that the tubes are piled in an optimum vertical position.
Using this frame avoids the need for a drilling rig, and that means
a considerable cost saving. Furthermore, using this frame means
that piling is no longer part of the critical path.

The average time required to drive
a conductor 60 metres deep is two working days.
We offer you a complete package, including the conductor tubes
themselves. This package includes:
– Driveability analysis
– Installation method
– Piling equipment
– Welding equipment
– Tubular handling equipment
– Conductor tubes
