During the modification and inspection of drilling rigs, some
places can be difficult to reach.
Wagenborg Offshore offers its Rope Access expertise as a
solution. Rope Access is rope work that is used in climbing
and is broadly known as ‘abseiling’. The riggers of Wagenborg
Foxdrill are trained in Rope Access to the highest international
standard, IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade
Association). Rope Access is a specialism that requires strict
requirements and certificates. This method is much simpler,
cheaper, and faster than alternative inspection methods.
