Fleet Management

The committed people of Wagenborg provide complete fleet management:

- Nautical and technical support, including during newbuilding and during operational service;

- Crewing issues, co-ordinated by the crew department. This includes recruitment, planning of personnel to and from ships, and wage administration;

- Insurance and claims processing. Wagenborg is an official insurance broker. Wagenborg manages all ship-insurance issues and mediates in damage and claims matters;

- Financial administration and reporting;

- Support with and organisation of certifications;

- Quality assurance.

Quality, Safety, and Environment (QESH)

Safety and environmental issues are at the top of the list at Wagenborg. All Wagenborg companies have thorough management procedures that are guaranteed with ISO certification.

Wagenborg Shipping has:

- ISO 9001 – quality management system

- ISM - International Safety Management

- ISO 14001 – environmental management system

Investors in People

Within Wagenborg Shipping, people are the most important factor in offering transport solutions. Our personnel policy has always been focused on recruiting and retaining qualified personnel. In May 2002, this was evaluated by Lloyd´s Register Quality Assurance in accordance with the Investors in People Standard.

Following this evaluation, Wagenborg Shipping is entitled to carry the Investor in People quality mark as of 1 July 2002.

We are very proud that we are one of the first companies in the Netherlands and the first shipping company in the Netherlands to comply with this standard.
