Wagenborg at its best
Transport of 4 reactors, heaviest piece weighing 233 tons,
length 67 meters, diameter 7 meter, from shop in Flechum Germany up
to site in Gdansk, Poland. The project was carried out in several
phases: 1. Road transport from shop up to inland harbour in Meppen
2.Transhipment with cranes into inland water vessels 3. Inland
water transport to Eemshaven NL 4. Transhipment onto seagoing
barges Wagenborg 5. Sea transport with Wagenborg barges and tugs 6.
Roll off operation with SPMTs 7. Transport to site under
cranehook
