After a tender process, Wagenborg Shipping and SCA have signed a contract for shipping services, regarding sea traffic volumes of wood, pulp and paper from the Baltic to the US east coast and multiple destinations in the Mediterranean.
Earlier this week, Wagenborg has shipped a deck cargo of silos to the Finnish Gulf. The project cargo was loaded on the mv IJzerborg in the port of Antwerp, Belgium. The mv IJzerborg is one of the geared 12.000 DWT vessels in the Wagenborg fleet.
The second EasyMax - under construction at Royal Niestern Sander as yard number 851 - has salt water under the keel for the first time after being transported from the ship yard to its home port Delfzijl.

Recently, Royal Wagenborg and Universal Africa Lines (UAL) closed a time charter contract for the MV Andesborg. This A-class vessel will sail for UAL on a direct service between North West Europe and Mozambique, Tanzania and Kenia in East Africa.
