Wagenborg Foxdrill’s rig-moving crews are regularly involved in erecting and outfitting offshore derricks for new-build projects worldwide. Many projects have been completed successfully, involving various types of derrick, such as static, dynamic and dual load path.
We have the know-how, qualifications and resources to make every derrick project successful - from steel erection to installing pipe handling and drilling equipment and from quay side assembly to hook up on the rig.
Wagenborg Foxdrill is certified in accordance with the IRATA (International Rope Access Trade Association) system. Rope access is a safe method for working at height where ropes and associated equipment are used to gain access to and from the work place. Most of our riggers are IRATA trained. The setup time for Rope access is minimal compared to conventional methods. The rope access services are supported by our QHSE Management System that ensures our operations are conducted in a controlled environment. Wagenborg Foxdrill uses rope access techniques for Derrick Assembly, Derrick Modifications and Inspections.
