Recently Wagenborg loaded a bridge weighing 760 tonnes on Wagenborg Barge 8 in the German city of Wilhelmshaven. The bridge is destined for Kirkenes in the north of Norway.

The bridge has been assembled by Schachtbau Nordhausen on premisis and measures 120m in length, 13,5m in width and 19,5m in height. By means of Self Propeller Modular Trailers (SPMTs) has the bridge safely and carefully been driven onto the pontoon. Directly after loading the seafastening started, which took a couple of days.

Currently the transport is ready for departure and will leave as soon as the weather it allows. The voyage will take about 12 days and measures over 1.500 miles.
