Wagenborg contributes to a wonderful closure of the summer in Alteveer (Groningen, The Netherlands), by transforming the natural ice rink of the RAS ice club to an outdoor theater. In the evening of 29 August 2015 a classic string quartet and a jazz quartet performed live from the water, during the so called ‘Ras Veenomeen’.
To enable this ‘Veenomeen’, Wagenborg provided one of her truck mounted cranes to position six pontoons in the water. Together, these pontoons created a safe and firmly anchored stage for the artists. Hoisting the pontoons had been carried out under wide interest of (among others) aldermen, members of the ice club and residents.
Due to the assistance of Wagenborg and the help of a big number of other enthusiastic volunteers and sponsors, the ‘Ras Veenomeen’ was a great success. About 200 people witnessed this special concert from the waterside.
