Recently the m.v. Bothniaborg, which is managed by Wagenborg Shipping Sweden AB, loaded a high priority cargo in the port of Terneuzen destined for Haraholmen.
This cargo, a shell measuring 7 meters in diameter and weighing 49,5 tonnes, was delivered in Terneuzen by an inland barge. Upon arrival of this barge, local stevedores discharged the shell immediately and loaded it on a waiting mafi trailer, that was shortly thereafter loaded onboard.
After loading, the m.v. Bothniaborg left for the Swedish port of Haraholmen. Here, the cargo will be discharged in and thereafter transported by road to the mining industry in the area of Kiruna.
Wagenborg Shipping Sweden AB operates a liner service with two RoRO carriers between the ports of Haraholmen (Piteå), Bremen, Sheerness, Terneuzen, Cuxhaven and Södertälje.
