Skylge in service


On March 22nd, Hongxin Shipbuilding Ltd., Taizhou, China delivered m.v. Skylge to Ameland & Skylge Shipping B.V., Harlingen (Stefan Switynk).

This 7600 ton, ice class 1A dry cargo vessel was built for the account of the shipping company just as he sister-vessel Ameland, delivered on December 24th.

The Skylge will be taken care of by the chartering department of Royal Wagenborg. On her first trip she will be taking project cargo from Shanghai, Laem Chabang and Singapore to Misurata, Libya and Mangalia, Romania.
