Last night the offshore support vessel ‘ARMANBORG’ rescued four fishermen in the Caspian Sea.

The ‘ARMANBORG’  is under charter of dredging company Van Oord and underway from Bautino to Prorva Project with the Wagenborg 101 barge in tow. During this trip the four fishermen were found and rescued by the ‘ARMANBORG’. The fishing vessel with four crew member was reported missing for three days.

Due to the bad weather conditions ‘ARMANBORG’ was unable to return to Bautino. In consultation with Van Oord the tug ‘KAYNARBORG’ was dispatched to ‘ARMANBORG’ to take over the survivors and return them safely to Bautino.
