Following an intensive preparatory phase, in May 2018 Wagenborg installed a special glass pedestrian bridge at the new Elbrücken station in Hamburg (Germany).

Because the two-part bridge (70 tonnes and 110 tonnes) had to be placed at a busy thoroughfare, it was decided to carry out the work at night. During the time the train service was suspended, Wagenborg installed the two bridge sections using a 500 and 700-tonne mobile crane.

Our customer praised the collaboration, skills and relaxed attitude of our Wagenborg people. In particular the professionalism of the Wagenborg drivers did not go unnoticed during this project!
