On Thursday, September 8th, 2016, Wagenborg transshipped, transported and  placed three wind turbine blades, measuring 60 meters each, at the Wagenborg Stevedoring Terminal in Eemshaven (the Netherlands). A beautiful spectacle.

The blades arrived in Eemshaven by Wagenborg Barge 5. Upon arrival in Eemshaven, they were  transshipped upon an extendable trailer by two mobile cranes in tandem lift. Once at the right location, the blades were positioned by two other mobile cranes, also in tandem lift.

This nice job was performed succesfully three times, thanks to good communication.

These operations are part of overall package activities, including storage, terminal operations, local transport and sea transport. Wagenborg performs these operations for one of her Offshore Wind industry clients.
