Last week, Wagenborg Nedlift performed a nice job in the inner city of Rotterdam. At the cruise terminal, located at the Willemskade, a gangway was relocated about 200 meters. Construction activities next to the cruise terminal caused inaccessibility of the terminal for the large cruise ships. Instead of complete disassembly and assembly of the gangway, it was decided to relocate the bridge in one piece. A timesaving alternative for the customer! Now that the gangway is relocated, even the largest cruise ships can moor at the cruise terminal’s quay. The relocation job was carried out with 2 x 6 axlelines of SPMT with powerpack. The foundation piece was lifted by a 80 tons hydraulic crane.
