Construction contract signed with Goossens te Pas for new Wagenborg location in Sappemeer

The boards of Royal Wagenborg and Goossens te Pas, part of the Netherlands' largest construction company VolkerWessels, signed the construction contract for a new Wagenborg location at the Vosholen in Sappemeer, the Netherlands. With this signing, our Board of Directors and the management of Goossens te Pas formally give the green light for an investment that aligns with our company's long-term vision.

The groundbreaking will take place on May 21. If the schedule is met, we will take the new facility into use in approximately one year. Wagenborg will then exchange its current location on Gideonweg in Groningen for the new location in Sappemeer.

The new construction is necessary to accommodate further growth and to better meet the demands of today and tomorrow. Employees will be provided with a modern, functional working environment. The workshop will be more spacious and better equipped, which supports daily work and improves collaboration.

In addition, sustainability is an important guiding principle. The new office will have significantly better sustainability performance than the current building. In doing so, we are anticipating stricter standards that will apply in the future and ensuring that the accommodation is future-proof in this regard as well.
