First lock gate successfully delivered to Brunsbüttel
In a remarkable display of precision and teamwork, Wagenborg’s tugboats Waterland and Wulf 4 have successfully transported the first lock gate from Eemshaven to its final destination in Brunsbüttel. This milestone marks a crucial step in one of Northern Europe’s most significant infrastructure projects, reinforcing Wagenborg’s reputation as a reliable partner for complex maritime logistics.
Final CO₂ tanks installed on Carbon Destroyer 1 in Delfzijl
The last CO₂ tanks have recently been safely and successfully installed on board the Carbon Destroyer 1 at the Koninklijke Niestern Sander shipyard in Delfzijl. This vessel is the first CO₂ carrier built in Europe and will be deployed next year in the Greensand Project. The ship is being constructed on behalf of INEOS Energy.
