Appointed Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau
On the day of his retirement, Egbert was appointed Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau, in recognition of his contribution and commitment to the maritime sector and the Northern Netherlands region handed over by Ben Visser, the mayor of the municipality of Eemsdelta. The Royal distinction underlines a career that extended beyond Wagenborg and reflects his longstanding involvement in the sector and the region.
