Wagenborg supports HSM Offshore with critical load-outs for Denmark’s largest offshore wind farm

In Schiedam, the jacket of the THOR OHVS offshore substation was loaded onto the large Wagenborg Barge 11, while the fully assembled topside was positioned on Wagenborg Barge 10. These critical components will soon set sail for their installation site off the Danish coast, where they will contribute to delivering green electricity to more than one million Danish households – a major milestone in Europe’s offshore wind energy transition.

The success of these operations showcases Wagenborg’s specialized offshore services and high-capacity fleet of sea-going barges.

• Wagenborg Barge 11 is a 20,000 DWT ocean-going pontoon, classed by Lloyd’s Register, featuring a deck area of 4,426 m² and a uniform deck load capacity of 15 t/m² – ideal for large offshore wind components.
• Wagenborg Barge 10 offers 15,530 DWT capacity, Bureau Veritas classed, with a 3,270 m² deck and extensive ballast and mooring systems designed for safe and stable offshore transport.
