Wagenborg tugs support bridge project in Northern Norway

Our tugs Waterland and Waterman safely towed the Wagenborg Barge 8 and Wagenborg Barge 9, loaded with heavy bridge segments, from Stettin, Poland to Tromsø, Norway. The barges carried critical components for the new E8 Sørbotn–Laukslett highway project.

This large-scale civil engineering project includes the construction of the 870-meter-long Ramfjord Bridge. Once completed, the new road will significantly improve traffic flow and safety in the region.

HEBO chartered Wagenborg’s seagoing pontoons to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable transport of the cargo from Poland to Norway.
