Mobilisation of Van Oord’s Boreas completed at Wagenborg Terminal Eemshaven
The Wagenborg terminal in Eemshaven once again proved its strategic value in the offshore energy sector. Van Oord’s Boreas—the largest offshore wind installation vessel in its fleet—was demobilised at the terminal following successful operations at the North Sea Cluster. Currently, preparations began for the vessel’s next assignment: the Hollandse Kust West project, where Boreas will install monopiles in the North Sea. Wagenborg is supporting this mobilisation project with a variety of assets and crews.
Lock gate successfully positioned in Eemshaven basin for testing
A significant step was taken in the Brunsbüttel lock gate project in Eemshaven. The massive lock gate, previously transported from Emden to Eemshaven aboard the Wagenborg Barge 10 pontoon, was successfully lifted from the barge and positioned into the water for testing. This operation marks the next phase in a complex and carefully coordinated infrastructure project that showcases Wagenborg’s expertise in heavy transport and lifting.
Our operations are built on sustainability
We are continuously aware of our impact on the environment and people around us. Our drive is to make our business more sustainable every day and to pass this on to future generations.
