First successful load-out of monopiles in Eemshaven after transport to Eemshaven

The first transport of monopiles for the Nordlicht 1 offshore wind project arrived in Eemshaven, marking the start of a major logistics operation in support of one of Germany’s largest offshore wind developments. The transport of all 68 monopiles will be carried out by Wagenborg on behalf of DEME and represents an important milestone in the construction of the Nordlicht offshore wind cluster.

Wagenborg expands fleet with 10 newbuilding ice-class 1A vessels together with Carisbrooke

Wagenborg announces a further expansion of its multipurpose fleet through a strategic partnership with Carisbrooke Shipping. As part of this collaboration, Wagenborg will add up to ten newbuilding 7,400 DWT ice-class 1A vessels to its fleet.

New construction milestone for Wagenborg’s EasyMax 2.0

Wagenborg has reached a new milestone in the construction of her first fuel flex EasyMax 2.0 vessel. On 19 June, two additional ring sections — ring 2 and ring 3 — were successfully transported at shipyard Royal Niestern Sander in Delfzijl by means of self propelled modular trailers (SPMTs).
