The new vessel ‘OLIVIJN’ strengthens long term cooperation in short sea shipping
This week, m.v. OLIVIJN became part of the Wagenborg chartering fleet. The vessel was delivered earlier to De Bock Maritiem and is the third newbuild built by Holland Shipyards for this owner. With OLIVIJN now commercially operated by Wagenborg, our customers can rely on additional capacity within a fleet that is focused on continuity and operational certainty.
OLIVIJN is designed for reliable and efficient operations in European short sea trades. The vessel has a cargo capacity of 3,600 tonnes, a hold intake of 195.000 cbft and is equipped with a diesel electric propulsion system. This setup supports operational flexibility, predictable performance and lower fuel consumption across a wide range of sailing profiles.
By adding OLIVIJN to the chartering fleet, Wagenborg continues to invest in partnerships that deliver dependable shipping solutions today and remain future ready for the years ahead. As such, we are proud to have extended the partnership with De Bock Maritiem.
