Just in time shipments from Poland to Denmark

The Danish authorities have initiated the Fjord Link project to build a new bridge over the Roskilde fjord. The 8.2 km new bridge consists of 492 concrete segments that are being constructed in Szczecin, Poland. The bridge is planned to open in 2019, so the final sections of the bridge need to be in Denmark by December 2018. That’s a logistical challenge where everything depends on planning. We talked to cargo superintendent Albert Snijders about it.

21 December 2020 A retrospect on 2020

Nobody could have predicted how turbulent the past months would be. So many otherwise stable factors have become disrupted, leading to uncertainty which can easily become paralysing. But that is our worst-case scenario. We need to move on, building on our assets and on our abilities. 14 December 2020 In 2020 Wagenborg installed 33 ballast water management systems

In 2020 Wagenborg and affiliated captain owners installed 33 ballast water management systems in their fleet of MPP vessels. With this significant number of installations and accompanying investment, Wagenborg demonstrates her high commitment to reduce her environmental footprint and achieve a better climate and environment.
