First ring section of next generation fuel flex EasyMax 2.0 transported

On Monday 9 February, the first ring section of Wagenborg’s new generation EasyMax 2.0 vessels was moved outside the construction hall. This marks the first visible step in the assembly of the fuel flex ships currently being built for Wagenborg, following the keel laying of six EasyMax 2.0 vessels earlier this year.

Tugboats assist Thames Highway following fire alert in the North Sea

Wagenborg provided assistance yesterday to the car carrier Thames Highway after a fire broke out on board the vessel. Tugboats Waterstraat and Waterstroom were deployed to safely escort the ship to the port of Emden.

First European-built CO₂ carrier receives its deck hatches at Wagenborg terminal in Delfzijl

The construction of the first CO₂ carrier built in Europe has reached a significant stage with the installation of its deck hatches. These hatches now cover and protect the CO₂ tanks, which are designed to transport approximately 5,000 tonnes of liquid CO₂.

Wagenborg executes urgent transport from Genemuiden (NL) to Lindø (DK)

Just before Christmas, Wagenborg received a request to transport two tools including frames by barge from Genemuiden to Lindø, Denmark. The loading date of January 7, 2026, was already fixed when the assignment was confirmed.
