As of March 27th, the crew transfer vessel (CTV) Waterlines will get a second life within the Wagenborg Group. The CTV, previously owned and managed by Wagenborg Towage, is added to the fleet of Wagenborg Passenger Services with immediate effect.
Recently, the m.v. Alaskaborg completed a special voyage from the Baltic to the Far East. The 15.750 DWT geared vessel from the Wagenborg fleet combined a bulk cargo and project cargo in both box-shaped holds. With this voyage, the m.v. Alaskaborg again demonstrates the flexibility and possibilities of the Wagenborg fleet.
Recently, Wagenborg transports project cargo from the port of Moerdijk to Saint Petersburg. The project cargo consists of several containers, cable reels and winches, varying from 15 till 90 tonnes, which were loaded both in the hold as on deck.
Recently, Wagenborg opened a new representative office in the Netherlands. The office is located in the port of Harlingen, located strategically towards the North Sea and home of many major logistic projects in the near future.
On March 14th 2019 shipyard Royal Niestern Sander announced that it had received an order from Wagenborg for the construction of a sister vessel of the Egbert Wagenborg. The yard will soon start the construction of the second ship of this EasyMax type.
Recently, the Wagenborg Barge 9, loaded with a jacket, arrived in the Eemshaven. The pontoon was moored in the Julianahaven under the agency of Wagenborg with the assistance of the tug boats Waterstraat and Waterstroom.
The Wagenborg combination of a 24/7 agency service, tug boats and unloading facilities proves her value again. Upon arrival in Delfzijl, the Tian Jian - under agency of Wagenborg - was assisted by the tug boats Waterstraat and waterstroom while mooring at the Wagenborg terminal.
Last week three Wagenborg arrived at the port of Delfzijl to discharge different types of bulk cargo: m.v. Azoresborg, m.v. Vechtborg and m.v. Beatrix.
