Diversity in size and tonnage
Our fleet is modern and environmentally friendly, and with the enormous diversity in type and tonnage we are able to offer just-in-time shipments for large cargo contracts as well as spot shipments. Wagenborg Shipping provides ship management for all types of ships – our own and of shipowners. The modern fleet consists of 173 vessels, ranging in size from 1,700 to 23,000 tonnes. The fleet largely consists of box shaped, ice-strengthened dry-cargo vessels. Wagenborg is active in the dry-cargo segment with ice-strengthened bulk carriers and multi-purpose vessels. With our diversity in size and tonnage we offer transport solutions to the market. Our fleet of paper carriers is used specifically for the transport of forestry products, such as paper and pulp. With an average age of 8,7 years, our fleet is one of the youngest in the world.
Wagenborg Shipping offers solutions within shipping on a worldwide scale. We undertake full fleet management for a large number of vessels that sail the Dutch flag - from chartering to total nautical and technical support and from crew matters to insurance and claims handling. The newbuild or sales and purchasing of ships is also carried out by a team of dedicated specialists. Wagenborg is a shipowner and also acts as a reliable broker.
